The leadership team at Altura Group has extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sector in Australia and Latin America. Altura Group was founded by their current Directors, Rosahlena Robinson and Christian Reilly who hold a shared extensive background in energy project development and vision to be a leading developer of renewable energy projects and advisory group in the energy and infrastructure markets, with a focus on energy storage.
Christian Reilly (Director):
Christian is a civil engineer and energy professional with 20 years power industry experience from strategy and inception, to development, construction and operational phases. A co-founder of Altura, Christian is responsible for project origination, project development, engineering, and market facing functions. Christian was responsible for power development activities for Origin Energy in Australia and Chile, across conventional hydro, pumped hydro, gas, solar and wind projects. Christian has gained a deep perspective on the elements required to produce successful project outcomes, developing projects in a socially responsible manner, combining proven technologies to produce innovative and highly marketable energy solutions.
Rosahlena Robinson (Director):
Rosahlena is a highly experienced leader specialising in business strategy and integration, joint venture & board management & reporting, sustainable development, project approvals, stakeholder engagement and HSE.
A co-founder of Altura, Rosahlena is responsible for all operations, approvals, HSE and governance for Altura. Rosahlena has extensive experience in energy development, construction and operations, recently focused in project development of utility scale renewable and gas energy projects in Chile, and previously in upstream oil, gas and LNG exploration, development & production within companies Origin Energy, Shell Australia and Santos.
Peter Bennett (GM Commercial Development):
Peter is a power generation project development and delivery professional with over 30 years in the development and delivery of major energy infrastructure projects, both from the perspective of Owner/Developer and Contractor/Project delivery entity. With Altura since 2016 Peter is responsible for electrical engineering, transmission and major contract formation, negotiation and settlement. Peter has extensive Australian as well as international experience including Africa, South America and Europe having successfully delivered over 4GW of power plants for large multinationals such as Siemens and Alstom with more recent experience in Australia with John Holland, Lend Lease and Origin.
Sinja Pejanovic (Hydropower Engineer):
Sinja is a chartered mechanical engineer with experience in the energy and coal seam gas industries including project development, construction and operations. At Altura, Sinja is responsible for coordination the engineering activities of the EPC Consortium and Altura's technical advisors, and a key interface for planning and approvals. Prior to joining Altura in 2016, Sinja worked for Origin in Chile to develop the Nido pumped hydro project following the completion of the APLNG project. Her previous experience includes design, field and project engineering for upstream coal seam gas projects. She also has strong experience with contractor management for design, fabrication, construction and commissioning phases including domestic and international providers.
Mark Endersby (Approvals):
Mark is an experienced environment planning professional with over 25 years in his field, encompassing project development, construction and operational capabilities. With Altura since 2016, Mark is responsible for the full scope of Project Approvals. Mark specialises in project managing the many facets of successful planning approval delivery, including planning approval strategies, contractor management, environmental, heritage and social impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement. This is complimented by Mark's technical understanding of environmental and compliance issues derived from over 10 years in operational roles including hydro, mining and consulting. Mark has led regulatory approvals and baseline environmental assessments at Origin and environmental management activities for Snowy Hydro.
